EK Greetings from Romeoville:
Thank you for your interest in supporting Lewis University Athletics and our 400 plus Flyer student-athletes. It is an exciting time for Flyer athletics as we are nationally recognized as a leader among the GLVC and MIVA conferences whose teams compete annually for championships.
Within the last few years we have joined a select group of schools as we are consistently among the top ten percent of all Division II Programs with regards to athletic achievements. Furthermore, our students do incredible work in the community and have achieved new heights in the classroom. This success is - in large part - due to our great alumni, parents and friends who annually support Lewis Athletics. Thank you for your past, current and future support!
Go Flyers!

? The Flyer Athletics Fund is Lewis’ annual fundraising arm in support of our Athletics Department. As a member of the Flyer Athletics Fund, you will be helping to prepare Flyer student-athletes to be champions who lead. Your support goes toward providing the best academic and athletic resources for our student-athletes.
As operational costs continue to soar, managing 20 sports and 400 student-athletes poses a challenge. We need and appreciate your help in meeting our funding needs that allow us to continually compete for championships and make Lewis University more attractive for prospective students. Please know that your gift to the Flyer Athletics Fund will make an impact on the lives of our student-athletes who represent Lewis with great pride.

Each year, the Lewis University Athletics Department conducts two targeted giving campaigns along with its annual golf outing.
Each fall, Flyer coaches and their student-athletes seek to raise funds for new equipment, training opportunities and travel to competitions. Last year, the campaign was the most successful in Flyer athletic history as more than 500 donors contributed over $50,000. Help support your favorite Flyer student-athlete and their program.
Led by a generous Flyer alumnus and his annual lead $10,000 gift, the Forever Flyers Campaign has raised over $75,000 in three short years. This annual spring campaign looks to increase alumni giving, participation and support. Each year, Flyer teams have a friendly competition and can win as much as $7,000 for their program.

The Lewis University Golf Outing enters its 36th year this upcoming summer. A long-standing tradition, this outing helps raise funds for the Lewis Athletics Department and is a signature event that Flyer fans look forward to each June. Hosted at nationally renowned Cog Hill, in Lemont, Ill., the event continues to grow each and every year. Participants enjoy a great day out on the links followed by dinner, drinks and a program with their friends, all in support of Lewis Flyer Athletics.

Head Softball Coach Becky Pearl
“We continually try to improve as a program on a day-to-day basis and fundraising plays an important role for our team. Our annual Spring Break trip to Florida and the recent improvements to the Lewis Softball Field were made possible through the help of our donors. We are just so thankful for theoutpouring of support!”
Tony PenaBaseball (1994-98)
“Every time I drive onto the Lewis campus I think about the great times enjoyed during my four years with a Lewis baseball jersey on my back. Lewis baseball gave me the opportunity to earn a degree that I would not have been able to afford without compromising my future. I just feel it is right to give back to those that have most contributed to my life today.”

“My daughter’s collegiate experience at Lewis University has been rewarding in so many ways and her athletic scholarship has helped make it possible. It is important for me to support Lewis University so that someone else’s child may be afforded the same opportunity.”

“Considering all that Lewis gave me as a student-athlete both through scholarship and numerous memories, I have never been hesitant to want to give back to a program that gave so much to me. I love being involved as an alumni and my pride in being a Flyer has only grown since my time at Lewis.”
