Agile Awareness Workshop for Executive Managers

Accelerate the management embrace of an Agile mindset with this introduction to the why and how of Agile. The tone of the session will be common-sense and real-world oriented, and the focus will be on using Agile to achieve the technology and business goals of the organization. This workshop helps the top management envision the key goals of their Agile journey and identify the initial move to make to start their transformation.

Course Overview This half-day workshop introduces participants to Agile. The first part of the session provides the attendees with basic understanding about Agile and helping top management assess the business benefits of Agile for their organization. It introduces best practices of Agile organization transformation. Challenges and traps are also addressed. During the second part of the workshop we discuss possible strategies for deploying Agile in the company specific context and identify possible first steps for moving forward with Agile adoption.

Course Objectives This workshop introduces participants to Agile main concepts, values and principles; it engages attendees in understanding the main Agile frameworks so to help evaluating its possible benefits in their own context. It also helps attendees understand the challenges of agile adoption, the main strategies for transforming their

organization and their role, as leaders, in making their Agile journey successful. At the end of the workshop, attendees will have a clear understanding about: - What is agile?
