Southern Illinois University Carbondale, school of Journalism is offering a summer camp for Illinois highschool students. - Work side by side with reporters and editors of award winning Daily Egyptian, SIU’s 95- year old student newspaper. - Get trained by top professionals on how to use video and photography equipment. - Learn how to create your own online newspaper. Spend five days and four night on Carbondale campus dring July 9th - 13th. Experience University housing in a dorm and dining with university meals provided. Classes will be taught by faculty with assistance from graduate students. Act fast! Just 16 students will be accepted. Apply now at journal.siu.edu.
