Converting a Flowsheet Converting a patient’s cycle from one type to another may occasionally be necessary. In the example below, an IVF cycle is being converted to an FSH/IUI cycle due to poor response.

1. Highlight current cycle and select convert button. 2. Go to planned cycle drop down box and select IUI. 3. Select save when done. 4. Cycle description will now read IUI.

Lab Schedule Icon Lab Schedule Icon allows the user to schedule labs directly from the flowsheet.

1. Single click on icon to bring up the following screen. 2. Double click on lab desired and schedule will appear. 3. Select time desired and double click on the appropriate line.

4. Open folder to show blood tests. 5. Check both blood tests (estradiol and progesterone) if desired. 6. Select save.

Phone Call Icon Phone Call Icon allows the user to document a phone call directly from the flowsheet.

1. Single click on phone call icon to display the following screen. 2. Select initiated by patient, partner, or user. 3. Enter message content. 4. Check to attach to patient chart. 5. Click save when phone call documentation complete.

Flowsheet Format Icon Flowsheet Format Icon allows the user to change medications and access writing a prescription for patient’s cycle directly from the flowsheet. Flowsheet format may also be accessed by right click. Select flowsheet format.

1. Single click on flowsheet format icon to display the following screen. 2. Add, delete, or insert medications or labs as desired. 3. Click on prescriptions tab to write a prescription for a patient’s cycle.

Cycle Management Note Icon Cycle Management Note Icon allows the user to access quick notes and Click N Build directly from the flowsheet.

1. Single click on flowsheet format icon to display the above screen. 2. The user may then choose to select a Quick Note Template or a Click N Build.

Medication Plan Icon Medication Plan Icon allows the user to change patient’s protocol template directly from the flowsheet.

1. Single click on medication plan icon to display the following screen. 2. Change assignment of medications and events as desired.

Billing Icon Billing Icon allows the user to access billing transactions directly from the flowsheet.

1. Single click on billing icon to display the following screen. 2. Create billing transaction as desired.

Documents Icon Documents Icon allows the user to access documents directly from the flowsheet.

1. Single click on documents icon to display the following screen. 2. Select template category from drop down box. 3. Select template name from drop down box. 4. Click open button. 5. Document as desired. 6. Click save when done. 7. Click close once saved.

Flowsheet Review

Continuing a Medication When reviewing a flowsheet, it is not uncommon to keep a patient on the same drug regimen for several more days.

1. Single click on cell with desired med and hit enter. 2. The medication and dose listed on the previous day will appear. 3. If the drug is to be continued for several days, click on the cell with desired med and drag down to

highlight multiple lines as shown in the example below.

4. Hit enter and the following screen should appear.

Stopping a Medication When reviewing a flowsheet, it is often necessary to stop a medication.

1. Select the cell of the desired med, on the desired date, and click on the stop medication icon. 2. The medication should not show after that date.

Compliance Compliance parameters may be quickly accessed and reviewed under Medical Notes Prescription tab while creating a cycle order.

1. Once a cycle order is selected a compliance button will appear.

2. Click on compliance button to display the following screen. 3. Review and waive compliance parameters as desired.
