The implementation date for the new Florida Product Approval System was October 1, 2003. Rule 9B-72 of the Florida Building Commission establishes a higher standard of practice for product evaluations, as well as uniformity and consistency of enforcement statewide. To find a product approval click here. The Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) are set forth by Miami-Dade County for all construction trades. They all have Florida Product Approval, but the installation methods are a little stricter. To find a NOA please click here.
