We provide a comprehensive array of relocation services. Many of our services are provided at little or no cost to our clients; others are provided on a fee basis. Listed below are the most frequently requested services by category. Our Relocation Director will advise which services are provided gratis, and which are fee-based.

Initial ConsultationOur Relocation Director will conduct an interview with each transferee to determine their individual needs and concerns. The

information is used to tailor the services they need and assist with broker selection.

Home Listing AssistanceOur Relocation Director will assist in the selection of an agent to meet with your employee. The agent will prepare a price opinion and marketing plan prior to the home going on the market. Our consultation will include a thorough market analysis to ensure the home is listed in the proper price range. Recommendations will be made for minor repairs or improvements to enhance its appeal.

Our agent will design a marketing campaign to ensure a sale of the home in a timely manner, for fair market value with the least

inconvenience to the seller. The goal will be to free up maximum equity with minimal disruption, allowing the transferee to concentrate on finding a home in the new location and preparing for the move.

Home Marketing Assistance

Home InspectionIt is strongly recommended that a home inspection be completed prior to marketing the home for sale. This gives the homeowner an opportunity to make any necessary repairs prior to putting the home on the market.

Broker Price OpinionsOur relocation specialist will prepare a standardized Broker Price Opinion as required by third party providers.

GGL Relocation Services will recommend qualified appraisers if required for a buyout or equity advance.

Appraisals

Referral to DestinationService Providers We will ensure the transition to a new location will be as seamless as possible by making sure employees are treated to the same high level of service in their new location. Our affiliates and partners in destination cities act as an extension of our company.

Relocation packages for an incoming transferee may include the following services, depending on your needs:

Needs AnalysisEach transferee will be interviewed by our Relocation Director prior to his or her first visit to determine the specific needs of the

home search process.

Area / Community ToursTouring will give the transferee a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the area and type of properties available within a price range and location. Transferees are acquainted with the special amenities of the destination locale, inform-ing them with statistical information regarding the real estate market and quality of life. Comprehensive tours of Lake and Northern Cook County include points of interest such schools, medical facilities, cultural centers, shopping centers and neighborhoods.

Realtor® SelectionOur goal is to select the most appropriate broker for the transferee. GGL Relocation Services prides itself on our team of brokers with deep roots in the communities that we serve. More importantly, our Realtors® are consistently the highest per capita producing agents in their market area. Our agents’ invaluable, extensive community expertise and customer centered service model will deliver the desired results.

home purchasing and closing on a home, including home inspectors, attorneys, mortgage lenders, etc...

Temporary Housing /Rental AssistanceWe will coordinate temporary furnished housing and rental assistance for your employees. When rental assistance is necessary, we can negotiate and secure leases, and assist with inspections and walk-throughs.

Property ManagementMany corporate clients own residential real estate, which requires management and oversight. Outsourcing the management of these properties is often a time-saving, cost effective solution. We are equipped to assist with property management. Our local team will run credit verification, secure tenants, collect and account for rents, manage repairs and conduct routine property inspections. We provide all necessary disclosure documentation and help to ensure your liability is limited.
