Quartzite is a hard, non-foliated metamorphic rock which was originally pure quartz sandstone.
Sandstone is converted into quartzite through heating and pressure usually related to tectonic
compression within orogenic belts. Quartzite tiles are tough, durable and have visually appealing
properties ranging from shimmer to mesmerizing natural patterns. Since quartzite tiles are extremely
durable they can be used in a variety of ways including floors, walls, indoor and outdoor.

Marble is a metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite

Slate is a fine-grained, foliated, homogeneous metamorphic rock derived from an original shale-type
sedimentary rock composed of clay or volcanic ash through low-grade regional metamorphism. It is
the finest grained foliated metamorphic rock. Foliation may not correspond to the original sedimentary
layering, but instead is in planes perpendicular to the direction of metamorphic compression. Slate
tiles are one of the sleekest and durable options for floors. It’s ideal for high traffic areas, less slippery
and will create a nice patina after time.

Granite is an igneous rock with between 20% and 60% quartz by volume, and at least 35% of the total
feldspar consisting of alkali feldspar, although commonly the term “granite” is used to refer to a wider
range of coarse grained igneous rocks containing quartz and feldspar. Granite tiles are one of the
most versatile options for flooring and extremely durable. Granite tiles can handle even the most foot
traffic areas in any space. There are many colors to choose from and finishes like polished, flamed,
sandblasted, chisel, split face, etc for each specific need.
