SPECIFICATION:

Cableduct Flush Floor Trunking is manufactured in 1.5mm (16 swg) for the

body and in 2.5mm (12 swg) for the lid, both from hot dipped pre-galvanisedsteel sheet.

Trunking bodies are supplied in 2 metre lengths; lids and removable channel

dividers in 500mm lengths (where applicable).

It is advisable that all lid sections should be in place prior to screeding.

This prevents the pressure of the screed distorting the trunking sides.

All trunking lengths come complete with the necessary lid fixings and

body connectors.

TO ORDERDelivery of FF4, FF12, FF13 and FF16 are usually

ex-stock. FF2 and FF4 supplied with fixed channel

dividers. All other ranges have removable channel

dividers to allow service boxes to be placed atany point along the trunking run.

Note: all sections are available with gaskets as

illustrated on ref FF4 / 40. Gasket not suppliedunless ordered separately.

The convenient solution for

raised floors

THE ADVANTAGES:

Installed within the raised floor to

service a distribution of 3 or 4

compartment flush fitting floorservice outlet boxes.

Supplied with 3 x 20mm conduit

knock-outs at one metre centres

along trunking sides and dividers forflexible conduit connections

between the trunking and service

outlet boxes.

Flyovers or tap-off boxes could also

be used with the trunking for

distribution and segregation ofcables between different services.

Additional service outlet boxes can

be easily installed or existing boxes

moved at any time withoutdisrupting the system.

A rectangular hole is cut out in a

floor panel into which the service

box is inserted to rest on the returnflange, which is then secured with

countersunk screws to the panel.

The versatile and unobtrusive way to

provide services to island sites.

THE ADVANTAGES:

Provides electrical, telephone data

and other services to island sites in

offices, hotels, shops andshowrooms.

The trunking is designed to be

buried in the floor screed with

services brought out through serviceoutlet boxes flush with the floor

surface or floor mounted

pedestal boxes.

Can be interconnected withCableduct Skirting Trunking.

Service outlet boxes are provided

with adjustment screws to reduce

on-site installation time bycounteracting the level variations

inherent in large screeded floor

areas.

SPECIFICATION

Cableduct Underfloor Trunking is

manufactured in 1.2mm galvanised

sheet steel to BS 4678 Part 2 1973 andsupplied in 2 metre lengths.

Trunking with two and three screened

compartments allows medium and

low voltage circuits to be separated inaccordance with IEE Regulations.

Standard Junction boxes are supplied

with a height adjustable 6mm deeprecessed trap and frame to accept a

carpet infill which may be reversed to

provide a plain surface flush with the

screed.

Junction boxes can be provided in a

brass or stainless steel finish, with

solid corner blocks to any lid recess,designed to co-ordinate with our 700series service box, see page 9.

Cableduct Underfloor Trunking,

requires a minimum screed depth ofonly 50mm. Minimum depth for

service boxes is 55mm, please see

with BS467B Part 1 Galvanised. Thetrunking body is manufactured from

is supplied in either self-colour

galvanised or white finish.

special order. Plastic snap-in lids are

extruded from rigid white PVC.

Body sections are supplied in 3 metre

The economicaI and easy-to-install

electrical distribution and suspended

lighting system.

THE ADVANTAGES:

Available in white or galvanised finish.

Exceptionally easy installation with asnap-in lid, running the entire length of

the trunking.

The snap-in cover can be inserted and

removed without disturbing the trunkingbody. The suspension saddles are

designed to be used with 10mm studding

(Ref 64) or 20mm conduit (Ref 59).

Cableduct Lighting Trunking can be fixedeither direct to girders, ceiling or

suspended from joists.

The Trunking body is supplied complete

with one connecting sleeve.

Note: to ensure electrical continuity an

earth link (Ref 4I) should be used at each

joint. If extra support is required in longspans (Ref 75) pressure sleeve should

be used.

Steel compartment dividers allowdata, telephone and power services

to be totally screened by metal

dividers. This prevents interference

manufactured from 1.2mm hot dippedgalvanised sheet steel. All skirting

trunking dividers are provided with

20mm knockouts at 200mm centres.

A range of purpose made odd

angle bends and pier sets are

available to suit all Cableductsskirting, dado and bench trunking.

Cableduct engineers will measure

for customers on site. However, the design of Cableduct

trunking is such that pier sets can

be easily fabricated on-site using a

combination of inside and outsidebends.

The use of cover strips means that

lids can be cut on-site around

piers without detracting from the

appearance.
