Referee explains any special ground rules3) Goalie meet in the middle and then go back the way they came to their goal.

NOTE: Goalies should be in-line with their team.

Class Question:When should the crew make itself available for equipment checks during the pre-game? After the coaches certification. This can be before or after the coin toss depending on the Referees preference. These equipment inspections should take place on the wing line on the far side of the field.

Class Question:If a player, who sees he is about to go offside, jumps from his side of the field and lands out of bounds past the Centerline is he offside? He is not offside because he is still considered onside since the last part of the field he touched was his correct half of the field.13

Class Question:When is it a good idea to sweep your arm along the boundary line when signaling out of bounds? When it is unclear if the player or ball touched the line.Do you need to do this on every out of bounds? No, this is generally used to sell the call if there is uncertainty.

Class Question:Ball goes out of bounds directly behind the goal. Goalkeeper is standing in the crease at GLE and the closest offensive player is two yards above GLE. Who gets possession following the shot out of bounds? The goalkeeper gets the ball in this situation.15

Class Question:Is it a goal if the goalkeeper with possession, reaches his stick back during pass and the head of his stick with the ball in it breaks the plane of the goal? No this is not a goal, a loose ball must break the plane. This would only be a goal if the goalkeeper dropped the ball while reaching back past the goal plane.

Class Questions:Under what circumstances should the officials wipe off a goal due to offside? If the offensive team is offside or if both teams are offside.Is it okay for a team to play with too few players back? (Only 2 attackman, or only 2 defenseman). It does not matter how few players are half of the field behind the play, only too many where the ball is. It is legal to have too few players back.
