    VZ300LVZ500L

    Compared with conventional EDMs, the Sodick Wire-Cut EDM Range can reduce

    the average energy consumption by up to 60%. The newly developed power unit

    “LN2W” series effi ciently supplies discharge energy and linear motor control

    current through the resistor free circuit.

    Furthermore the energy used in the manufacture of the actual component parts

    is dramatically reduced as the linear motor drive systems require fewer mechanical

    components and do not need to be replaced regularly due to wear.

    stability. The new ergonomically designed LN control panel allows for stress-free operation

    through its 15" Colour display.

    Enlarged Work TankThe 4-sided fame type work stand and an even bigger dimension of the

    new work tank allows the operator to work with a maximum work piece

    size of 960 x 670 x 245 mm (VZ500L). The manual rise & fall tank door

    enables a better access for setup.

    Highly ProductiveFiltering SystemsThe new filtering system achieves a 300% increase

    in filtration capability, works with an extra water

    circulation pump and self cleaning tank seals.

    New Automatic Wire ThreaderAutomatic wire threading is further improved. The wire is cut by a thermal

    Linear motor drive precision Wire-cut EDM

    VZ300LVZ500L

    Compared with conventional EDMs, the Sodick Wire-Cut EDM Range can reduce

    the average energy consumption by up to 60%. The newly developed power unit

    “LN2W” series effi ciently supplies discharge energy and linear motor control

    current through the resistor free circuit.

    Furthermore the energy used in the manufacture of the actual component parts

    is dramatically reduced as the linear motor drive systems require fewer mechanical

    components and do not need to be replaced regularly due to wear.
