and embed personal photographs, and effectively an online community.

Widely used by photo researchers and by bloggers.

Created by Ludicorp and launched in 2004. Acquired by Yahoo in 2005. Knowledge Domain : Image and video hosting. Flickr acts as an informal knowledge

repository for sharing photographs and videos. Flickr makes effective use of folksonomy.
