OLFLEX® VFD Slim is a reduced diameter shielded motor supply cable for variable frequency drives. OLFLEX® VFDSlim is designed with “Lapp Surge Guard” to hold up tothe non-linear power distortions associated with VFDdrives. This cable has a specially blended PVC jacket thatis TC approved for both UL and CSA standards for 600volts. OLFLEX® VFD Slim is UL Type TC-ER approved.*It is also approved for 1000 volts by UL AWM and is c(UL)CIC and CSA AWM FT4 approved.

Lapp USA’s unique VFD Slim design is different whencompared to other VFD motor supply cables, due to“Lapp Surge Guard”, a special semi-conductive insulation. OLFLEX® VFD is a shielded, oil resistant and flexiblemotor supply cable for variable speed drives subject tonon-linear power distortions. This cable is used to interconnect an AC variable frequency drive or controlsystem to an AC variable frequency motor. OLFLEX®

VFD cable is different from other VFD cables because itis insulated with “Lapp Surge Guard” to disperse the voltage spikes, harmonics, and power distortions

associated with variable frequency drives. The “LappSurge Guard” specially formulated insulation preventspremature cable damage. An inner jacket is used to protect the insulation from the braid shield and to lowerthe capacitive attraction between the shield and power conductors. The outer orange jacket is extremely oil and UV resistant. OLFLEX® VFD has a Corona inceptionvoltage of 2900 volts.

and place, multi-axis machinery and material handlingequipment.

OLFLEX®-SERVO LK-SMS-FX8 has an overall shield forprotection against RFI & EMI interference.

OLFLEX®-SERVO LK-SMS-F8 Construction:Finely stranded copper conductors; pairs are insulated with special elastomeric material; power conductors insulatedwith PVC; pairs shielded with aluminum foil and tinned copper shield; overall tinned copper braid (85% coverage), specially formulated PUR jacket.
