FixingtoWood(StudWalls)Use a good quality stud sensor to locate adjacent upright studs in the areawhereyouwanttomountyourscreen(thecentresofeachstudisusuallyapprox.400mmor600mmapart).Itisagoodideatoverifywherethe studs are located with an awl or thin nail as shown in Fig. 3. The wall plate 13 is attached to the wall using a minimum of four appropriate screws/bolts and washers as shown in Fig.4. Make sure the screws/bolts are suitable for wood and large enough to support the weightoftheTVandbracket(ifindoubtaskforadviceatyourlocalDIY/hardware store and remember to make sure that the heads of the screws/boltsarethecorrectsizetoholdthebracketsecurelyinposition).Mark and drill your first hole into the wood as close as possible to the centre of an upright. To mark the remaining hole/holes, hold the wall plate 13 to the wall, using the spirit level bubble to make sure the wall plate is level, and mark the centre of each hole. Make sure the wall plate is oriented so that the spirit level bubble is facing towards you and all screws/bolts are properly tightened. FixingtoConcrete/BrickWallsTheprocessisthesameasforattachingtowood.Youshouldhoweveruseaminimumof6screws/bolts,washersandwallplugssuitableforthetypeofwallyouaremountingonto(ifindoubtaskforadviceatyourlocalDIY/hard-ware store and remember to make sure that the heads of the screws/bolts are the correct size to hold the wall plate 13 securelyinposition),seeFig.5&6. When fixing to walls screws/bolts should be fixed into bricks/stone not into mortar courses. Use the wall plate 13 as a template to mark screw/bolt positions and make sure all screws/bolts are properly tightened.
Step2Make sure the two TV Rails 12 are mounted at an equal distance from the top of the TV and as close to the center vertically as possible, see Fig. 7.FoureachoftwolengthsofM4,M5,M6andM8mountingboltsare provided ➊➋➌➍➎➏➐➑forattachingtheTVrailstotheVESAmounting holes use the size which fits your TV. Use longer lengths and Plastic Spacers10 or 11 for TV’s with curved or recessed back panels as shown in Fig.7.Ifyouaremountingtoatelevisionwithaflatbackyoucanuseashorterboltandwillnotneedaplasticspacer,seeFig.8.ForM4andM5 bolts use the smaller aperture in the washer and the small spacer 10 for M6andM8boltsusethelargerapertureandlargespacer11 . Make sure all four bolts are fully tightened.
With the help of another person, hook the TV Rails 12 with the TV attached over the top of the Wall Plate 13 ,seeFig.9&10.DonotreleasetheTVuntilthe mounting arms have been securely hooked onto the wall plate 13 . Then tighten the safety screws 14 as shown in Fig. 9.
PLEASE NOTE: For larger/heavier TVs we recommend that you ask someone to assist you with lifting and positioning your TV.

STEP 3 - Hanging and securing the TV
Mounting your TV - Overview
Once you have decided where to locate your TV and where the bracket needs to be positioned, mounting requires the 3 steps described below. Step 1: mark and drill fixing holes in the wall and attach the wall plate ➓to the wall using suitable screws/bolts. Step 2 attach the TV Rails 12 to the back of the TV using the plastic spacers 10 or 11 if required. Step 3 hang the TV Rails 12 and TV onto the wall plate 13 and tighten the safety screws to hold the TV arms in position.
