Types of Safety & Security Glass

Laminated Glass: Made of two or more layers of glass permanently bonded together with an interlayer.

Heat Strengthened Glass: It has been treated to induce surface compression.

Toughened Safety Glass: It has increased strength and usually shatter in small , pieces when broken.

IGU/Energy Efficient Glass

Insulated Glass Unit: Consists of two or more panes of glass bonded to both sides of an aluminium spacer by both a primary and secondary seal to create one unit.

Low E Glass: Has a thin metallic coating on the glass that reflects thermal radiation reducing heat transfer through the glass.

Switchable Privacy GlassFrom clear to opaque at the flick of a switch,

conceal switchable privacy glass provides instant privacy , security, solar and glare control.

Translucent in the power off state, permitting light to penetrate whilst preventing vision through the glass. When power is applied , the glass becomes transparent with full visibility.
