FLASH MOB “Let’s talk cancer ”organized

at Punjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh by Dept. of PGIMER, Chandigarh

Cancer is one of the most common causes of death, with nearly 7 million deaths each year worldwide.

However,

at least one-third of

all cancer cases are

preventable.

Prevention offers the

most cost-effective

long-term strategy

for the control of cancer.

It was started with a visual retreat with lots of colorful puppets with a song….

To attract people around Student Centre at Punjab University,

Sector 14, Chandigarh at 1 pm

A giant Fish Puppet (17.5 feet long & 7.5 feet

high) appeared with lots of Cancer Awarness visuals & text on it for Display

Diets high in fruits and vegetables may have a protective effect against many cancers

Conversely, excess consumption of red and preserved meat may be associated with an increased risk of colorectal cancer.

Regular physical activity and the maintenance of a healthy body weight, along with a healthy diet, will

considerably reduce cancer risk

A giant puppet of HAND (6 feet x 6 feet) came along other 8 puppets…

All puppets & community children sung.. & spread out the demerits of CANCER
