Pi Entertainment presents Flambeau Music & Camping Experience, a 2+ day total, multi-stage, country & American music, camping & culinary festival over October 6-7, 2017. Through venue selection, talent programming, availability of camping and development of an immersive total weekend experience, Pi Entertainment will offer music festival fans a unique festival experience unmatched within 500 miles of the venue.
The festival will be programmed to appeal predominately to the 18-35 year old demographic but will contain sufficient programming to also be appealing to the 35-55 year old demographic. Marketing efforts will be directed in three specific areas: (1) colleges & universities within a 500 mile radius of the venue, (2) targeted social media festival shoppers nationally and (3) traditional media and marketing efforts in a 150 mile radius of the venue.
Based on current expectations, festival ticket sales volume is expected at or above 18,000. While the venue can easily support greater than 30,000 attendees per day and programming will be of sufficient quality to attract that level of attendance, management believes prudent expectations of sales are required in the first year of the festival to manage overall profitability. It should also be noted that the venue can be re-configured to safely support crowds up to 43,000 immediately if demand greatly exceeds plans this year or in the future. From 2018 forward, with additional multi-road egress slated and finished, the venue will be able to host upwards of 70,000 festival goers per day.
Flambeau Music & Camping Experience will springboard off the very successful country music demographic within the 500 mile radius of Baton Rouge, LA, a demographic proven loyal 7 years running by a previous country music concert-style weekend with annual ticket sales of 33,000-42,000. Flambeau Fest will honor that loyal demographic, and will deliver a “true festival event” by programming A-List Artist headliners for all days with major mainstream radio airplay and touring success. In addition, a key distinguishing element of the Flambeau Experience will be its inclusion of heritage and traditional country artists and styles which have been the backbone of success for Nashville and country music for the last half century. With multiple stages, culinary stage exhibitions, songwriter-in-the-round events, kids’ tent & activities, full RV & camping abilities, and an “All Night Honky Tonk” on site, Flambeau Festival will be the premier country and American music festival within 500 miles.
Intersecting dirt roads of broad American country music will brand the festival as inclusive to traditional & mainstream country, americana, roots rock, bluegrass, southern rock and rockabilly. This musical canvass will showcase the many colors of the true American music experience....

Music fans - and especially college students - love their festivals. At least that’s the finding of a new study by Eventbrite, an online ticketing and registration platform for live music.
1 in 10 Americans attended a music festival in the past year.
1 in 5 millennials took in the events.
1 IN 4 - 25% of US student population went to a music festival in the last year, 2X that of the general population.
The nation’s fest mania has a clear bias by genre and region. 11 of the top 25 fests take place in the southern US.
