FJH DANCE TEAM Virtual Tryout Information WHEN ARE TRYOUTS? Dance Team Virtual Tryout Date: Saturday, May 23, 2020 HOW WILL I TRYOUT? Zoom will be used for both tryouts. You can access Zoom using an app on your phone, or on your computer through their website. Please familiarize yourself with Zoom prior to the tryout date. WILL THERE BE A CLINIC? The clinic will be conducted through videos, which will be sent by email on Thursday, May 21, before 9:00 a.m. Please make sure your email address is accurate and that you receive the prior confirmation email. WHAT IS THE REQUIRED ATTIRE FOR TRYOUTS? Tryout attire will remain the same: tennis shoes or jazz shoes (preferred), black shorts or leggings, a plain black tank, short sleeved t-shirt, or leotard, no jewelry, and hair should be pulled up and out of face. No cheer or dance affiliated logos on any part of the outfit will be permitted. WHEN ARE APPLICATIONS DUE? Applications are due Monday, May 4, 2020. HOW DO I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION? If you need an application, it is accessible on the FJH website or in the school office on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 8-10 and 4-6. DO I STILL NEED A PHYSICAL? Even though tryouts are not on school grounds, you are still required to submit a physical by May 4, 2020. HOW DO I TURN IN MY APPLICATION PAPERWORK? Email all paperwork to Ms. Mendoza [email protected], or drop off paperwork to the school office. It is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-10 a.m. and 4-6 p.m . WHAT IF I ALREADY SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION? If you submitted your application prior to the close of school, you do NOT need to resubmit your application. HOW WILL I KNOW IF YOU RECEIVED MY APPLICATION? You should receive an email from Ms. Mendoza by Friday, May 8, indicating that your paperwork has been received.
