Five little porcupinesWalking by the road,Planning to cross withAdvice from a toad.
The first one says,“We must be in a hurry.”
The second one says,“They’ll brake, don’t worry.”
The third one says, “They stop for most.”
The fourth one says,“They’ll make us toast!”
The fifth one looked with dread
As he watched the oncoming tread.
“Was the crossing just a lark?”
The toad parted with this remark.
