In unserem Betrieb wird dem Kunstschmieden ein beson-

derer Stellenwert eingeräumt. Dieser traditionelle Bereich

unserer Arbeit – in dem wir zu den wenigen Ausbildungs-

betrieben in Deutschland zählen – ermöglicht uns seit

vielen Jahren anspruchsvollste Restaurierungen an his-

torischen und künstlerisch wertvollen Schmiedearbeiten

sowie hochwertige Neuanfertigungen in unserer Kunst-

schmiede.

field, we have undertaken the most demanding, historic restorations and the creation of

contemporary objects for many years.

In der Bronzezeit wurde dieses Material für die Anfer-

tigung von Waffen und Werkzeugen benutzt – heute

wird der traditionellen Werkstoff als Wandverklei-

dung oder für Bronzetüren und kleinere Applikatio-

nen eingesetzt. Aber auch für die Präsentation und

Realisierung von Kunstwerken und Denkmälern fin-

det es Anwendung.

In den letzten Jahren durften wir bei vielen hoch-

wertigen Projekten – unter anderem für das Neue

Museum Berlin – beweisen, wie gut wir es verstehen,

diesen klassischen Stoff mit modernster Architektur

zu vereinen.

In the past, bronze was mainly used for the construction of cannons. Nowadays, this traditional

material is used for wall panels or bronze doors and for smaller applications. You can now also

find it being used for works of art and monuments.

In the past years, we have been able to demonstrate our expertise by contributing to many exclu-

sive projects, such as the New Museum Berlin, and have shown how well we combine this classic

material with modern architecture

Fassaden heißen Menschen willkommen, sie vermitteln

Moderne Fassaden sind meist aus einer Kombination von

Glas und anderen Werkstoffen realisiert. Es kann sich um

in Stahl gefasste große Fensterfronten handeln, um Misch-

formen, wie am hier gezeigten Beispiel eines Glas-Vorda-

ches mit bronzener Untersichtverkleidung oder auch um

eine Stahlverkleidung in den Firmenfarben eines Unter-

nehmens.

Modern facades are mostly produced using a combination of glass and other materials.

This can come in the shape of large, steel fitted window fronts or in hybrid forms as seen

in this example of a glass canopy with a soffit of bronze, or even as steel panelling in the

corporate colours of a company.
