IntroductionThese mounting instructions show how a racking system should be installed in the vehicle. The modular racking
system can be congured in a great variety o ways, but these instructions show a common conguration. These
mounting instructions must be adhered to regardless o the type o racking system, but positioning o angle brack-
ets must be adapted to the racking system and the vehicle.
PreparationUnpack, check number and type o products.
Preliminary assemblyRead the accompanying mounting instructions or the product in question. Assemble as much as possible outside
the car – it is important that this take place on a fat surace.
Vehicle liningI protective lining is to be tted in the cargo space, this should be done beore the racking system is lited into the
vehicle. But mark where the vehicle’s structural members are so that you can position the angle brackets there
when installing the racking system.
Installing in the vehicleLit the racking system into the vehicle and adjust into position. The racking system should then be mounted on
the walls and foor using the astening components indicated. Bolts must be used or attachment where possible,
otherwise rivets. With foor mounting a number o panels, spare wheels etc. oten need to be removed to allow
access or bolted mounting. Holes drilled into the vehicle’s bodywork need rust protection, and metal swar must
be cleaned up to reduce the risk o corrosion to the vehicle’s bodywork.
When mounting drawer sections, always start by positioning the stand or drawer section at a suitable location
in the vehicle, and then attaching it using through-bolts or pop rivets. Then build upwards in accordance with the
mounting instructions or the accompanying product in question.
Mount the xing plate or the racking, beore you astens the foor above the drawer section.
When mounting a extendable rame always position it in such a way that it can be attached using through-bolts
in the foor o the vehicle. Look out or electrical wiring, uel pipes, spare wheels, etc., under the foor o the vehi-
cle beore you start drilling.
IMPORTANT!-Beore holes are drilled in the oor and bodywork fnd out what is under the oor andbehind pillars, e.g. electrical wiring, brake or uel lines, uel tank, chassis, etc!
