For more than 100 years the Port of Seattle has supported fishing, seafood and maritime activities that generate more than 43,000 jobs in our region. The port’s goal is to double the economic value of the fishing and maritime cluster by 2025 through investing in and marketing its fishing and commercial moorage facilities, protecting industrial lands and helping to attract and train maritime employees.
