Revved Up Kids Ministries is partnering up with Regency Place to creatively inspire the love of Jesus with all of their residents. Join me, Pastor Jodi, along with Pastor Mandy, as we lead worship through song, dance, and the Word... oh yeah and let's not forget our creation station cookie decorating extravaganza! This
missions moment is a great way to help kids help our community!
Remember, Revved Up Kids doesn't want to just be the best kids ministry in Teays Valley. We want to be the best kids ministry for
Teays Valley!

Thursdays” at
Giovanni’s—Aug 7th
The Garage Student Ministries invites you to “First Thursdays” at Giovanni’s Pizza Tower in Hurricane. Order pizza on the first Thursday of any month (any time of the day) and mention “The Garage Student Ministries” and we will receive a portion of the proceeds!

The youth ministry is hosting a
summer concert series
each Wednesday for youth and youth
ministries all over the valley! Each
week we will begin with dinner for $2
at 5:30 p.m. and the concert will go
from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

If you are interested in purchasing a
TVCOG t-shirt, you may do so at the
Guest Services desk. Fill out the
form found there and leave in the
drop box on the wall with your
payment. All sizes are $8 each. All
proceeds benefit our youth ministry.
Middle School Kings Is-
land Trip (Incoming 6th-8th
grade) August 2nd will be a one-day trip to Kings Island. The cost is $100 per student and includes tickets, meal plan and transportation. Meet at the church at 7 a.m. and we will return at approximately 11:00 p.m. Saturday night for parent pick-up.

Back to School Bash!
Kids K-5th grade are invited to a pool
party August 2nd from 1pm-3pm at the
McGough’s home, 511 Frazier Way, Scott
Depot, WV 25560. Parents of K-3rd grade
children are asked to remain present
throughout the party.
Only one piece swimsuits will be
allowed. Also, please bring your own
towel & sunscreen, but lunch will be fully
provided! Please RSVP at Cruise Control
check-in.
In the case of rain,
the party will be rescheduled.

Mission Possible Update
$5,377.43 was received this week for a
new total of $243,892.17 that has now
been given since September for our
MISSION POSSIBLE campaign!
145 different households have pledged
$802,343.00. If you wo uld like to make

Canaan Valley
Men’s Golf Trip
The trip is September 18-21, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday night. If you decide to go up early on Thursday and play, you are on your own. If you decide to play an additional 9, the replay fee is $9.00. Replay for 18-$18.00. The package price that includes lodging and golf with cart for 18 for all 3 days will be $315.00. Payment needed by the end of July. Make checks payable to Gary Lacy.

Once again this year, our men’s soft-
ball team has won the Hurricane
League with a 19-2 record. They will
play again Monday night and then
will be in gearing up for the
League Tournament July
28—August 4th. Let’s keep

HeartBeat of
the Valley
Donations needed: There is a sign over the “Food for the Needy” box in the lobby with green slips of paper that you may take. Each slip has an item that is needed for donation for our upcoming pregnancy workshop. Take the slip and return your donations to the box and mark them "For Heartbeat". We are seeking more testimonies for the "Year of the Story" for both our Sunday morning services and a special Christmas concert which will be hosted by our "Voices of Praise" choir. Ladies night out will be on a new night! Tuesday, August 19th at 6:30 p.m.in the fellowship hall. We will have a carry-
in dinner and an evening of jewelry making. The cost will be $4 per person. More details to follow.
Rippling Waters
WV State Camp Meeting
Join us at our state camp meeting just north of Charleston beginning Sunday night, August 3 through the 8th. Sunday night begins with a concert by either Alanna Story (for the youth) or the Gospel Harmony Boys in the main tabernacle. Services will be held nightly at 7 pm. The speaker is Rev. Greg Hall.
All regular TVCOG Wednesday activities for August 6th will be moved to Rippling Waters. The youth will be traveling together. There are children's activities at Rippling Waters during
the service.
Pizza with the Pastors
If you are new to TVCOG or have not
yet attended a newcomers’ luncheon,
then please plan to attend Pizza with
the Pastors on Sunday, August 3rd
immediately following the
second service. It is a great way
to meet the staff and learn about
the mission of TVCOG.

The Gravity Zip Lines Tour
October 4th we will be sailing through the trees on a Gravity Zip Line Tour through the River Gorge region. We need 30 people to sign-up to get the rate of $82 per person. 1/2 is due now and the other half will be due later. Please place your payment in the offering plate and mark it “Zip Line”.
