Estimados Padres de Familia y Tutores:

La Parroquia de St. Mary’s y la Oficina de Educación Religiosa les dan la más cor-

dial bienvenida a nuestro nuevo curso de catequesis 2019-2020

Nos complace poder contribuir y llenar todas sus expectativas con responsabili-

dad y respeto en el aprendizaje y crecimiento en la fe en el proceso de prepara-

ción para la Primera Comunión de su hijo(a).

Con el profesionalismo de nuestra oficina le presentamos a usted nuestras

siguientes normas de conducta que deben ser aceptadas antes de inscribir a

su hijo(a).

Dear Parents/Guardians:

St. Mary of the Assumption Church and the Office of Religious Education would

like to welcome you to our new catechetical year 2020-2021.

It is our pleasure to contribute to and fulfill your expectations with the responsi-

bility and respect towards the teaching and spiritual growth in First Communion

preparation.

Our office would like to share with you the norms of conduct that must be

accepted by you when enrolling your son/daughter in this program.

REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT OF FIRST COMMUNION

• Completion of the year of First Communion classes with regular attendance and have NO MORE than 3 absences per year. • Choose one sponsor. The sponsor must attend 3 faith formation classes TBD. • Help with fundraisers. There will be only 2 fundraisers. All students/parents

must sell or buy tickets. • All students must attend Mass every Sunday and on special Holy Days of

Obligation. • All students must learn and memorize their prayers.

• Completar el año de clases de Primera Comunión con regularidad. NO MAS de 3 faltas por año.

• Elegir un padrino o Madrina. El padrino Madrina debe de asistir a 3 clases de

formación en la fe (por determinar). • Ayudar a la oficina cuando realiza rifas para reunir fondos, todos los niños/

padres deben de vender o comprar los boletos. • Todos los estudiantes deben de asistir a Misa de Domingo y días de obliga-

ción. • Los niños deben de aprender y memorizar las oraciones.

REQUISITOS PARA RECIBIR EL SACRAMENTO DE LA PRIMERA COMUNION

Parent/Guardian Requirements:

• When enrolling your son/daughter, you must bring the original Baptism and

birth certificates. Full payment: Enrollment fee of $75 is due the day of enroll-

ment if you are a returning student from our old program or $130 if you are a

new student enrolling in the new one-year process.

• If you wish to cancel the enrollment, a $50.00 fee will be kept to cover

administrative fees.

• August 3rd , 2020 is the last day to do the following:

A. Cancel enrollment

B. No fee will be refunded after this day, 08/03/2020

• You must make sure that your son/daughter arrives to class on time

A. Please make sure that you bring your child to the door of the

classroom

B. St. Mary of the Assumption Church and the Office of Religious

Education and its personnel do not assume responsibility for your

son/daughter if they are dropped off outside the premises of the

Church

• It is very important that you, a parent/guardian, encourage prayer time and

aide your son/daughter to learn their prayers at home. (Remember that with

our example we can encourage our children)

• Parents must attend ONE RETREAT during the 2 years and 6 faith form-ation classes per year offered by the Office or any church ministry classes approved by the office. (TBD)

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR PARENTS

REQUISITOS PARA INSCRIPCION PARA LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA

Requisitos para los Padres y Tutores:

• Debe de presentar el acta original de Bautismo y de Nacimiento del niño/a y cubrir la cuota de inscripción $75.00 si es un niño/a que regresa a su segundo año y estuvo con nosotros ya, o si es un niño/a que viene por primera vez al programa de 1 año debe pagar $130 cuando lo registre.

• Si usted desea cancelar la inscripción de algún estudiante le serán retenidos

$50.00 por trámites de oficina.

• El 3 de agosto del 2020 es el ultimo día para:

A. Cancelar la inscripción

B. Después de esta fecha no se reembolsara nada de la cuota de REGISTRO

• Debe de traer a su hijo(a) a la clase a tiempo.

A. Favor de traer a su hijo(a) hasta el salon de clase y asegurarse de que es-

te con el/la catequista que le corresponde,

B. La Iglesia de St. Mary’s y la Oficina de Educación Religiosa y su per-

sonal NO se hace responsable de su hijo(a) si lo(a) deja afuera de las

instalaciones de la Iglesia.

• Los padres de familia deben atender un retiro en los dos años y 6 clases de

formación en la fe por año que ofrece la oficina o cualquier grupo de la Parroquia que sea aprobado por la Oficina. Por determinar nuevas fechas si es posible.

Comunication/Comuniocacion

The Office of Religious Education is committed to communicating with you in several ways. We will be using a family registration software call Gabriel Soft for emails and text messaging. It is extremely important that you follow us on Facebook and sub-scribe to our YouTube channel. We normally send a text massage when we have a new video with important information on Facebook or YouTube.

La Oficina de Educación Religiosa tiene el compromiso de comunicarse de la mejor manera para así brindarles un mejor servicio. Usaremos un programa llamado Gabriel Soft para registrar a la familia y por medio del este le enviaremos mensajes de texto y correos electrónicos. Es muy importante que nos de un Like en Facebook y se suscriba en el canal de YouTube . Normalmente le enviamos un mensaje a su celular cuando té-menos nueva información importante en YouTube o Facebook.
