Saturday Morning Women’s Bible Study are collecting hygiene items and monetary donations

for Robert and Claudia’s trip to Mexico.

They will put bags together for them to pass out on their mission trip.

If you would like to donate please bring all donations by the office.

This is an exciting weekend for our youth and we are in need of host homes,

snacks, and donations!

If you would like to open up your home and signup to be a host home please contact Bryson, or if you would like to

donate please bring them by the office. October 5 - 7

We will have a float to enter the parade and a booth with a bounce house.

To do these things we need the following: *Volunteers to decorate

house.

OPPORTUNITIES AT FIRST BAPTIST

FBI is hosting a Back to School Bash for the community.

Sunday, August 26th

Come dressed casually and join us for Sunday School, morning service and lunch, following the service.

Please bring your favorite dessert. (desserts can be dropped off in the fellowship hall)

There will be bouncers and indoor & outdoor games.

Everyone is invited to come fellowship, we ask that you bring your friends (OIKOS), and make this an exciting and encouraging time for

all of our students, teachers, and faculty.

We are excited and look forward to seeing everyone!

We want YOU to get involved in everything FBI has to offer!

We are hosting a Ministry Morning, August 19th, in the foyer following morning service.

Tables will be set up with information on all of our ministries/Children’s activities that will resume this September.

Each table will have leaders available to answer any questions you might have.

This is a DO NOT MISS morning.

Backpack Blessing

We are asking students of all ages to bring school backpacks to church on Sunday, August 26th for a time of prayer! During the Children's Sermon, all students will come down to the alter for a special prayer time for the school year. Students, invite your friends to church and

tell them to bring their backpacks!

This could be one of the best evangelism opportunities of the year! Everyone would love to have a special prayer prayed over their students for

a great school year, so just extend the invitation, you will have takers! Of course, we will be including teachers in this prayer time, as well!

Remember, Sunday the 26th is our casual dress Sunday,

followed by a cook-out.
