Using a detailed life size replica of the Tabernacle of Moses, this study pre-sents an expert-guided tour and explanation of each part. As you walk through this life-size mod-el of the Old Testament Tabernacle, you will work your way from the Outer Courtyard into the Most Holy Place. The study ex-plains the significance and symbolism of each section
of the Tabernacle and reveals how they point to the coming of Jesus. This study will begin on Sunday, September 8th at 5:00 PM in the Chapel.
The second deacon ballots will be available at the end of the morning worship services this Sunday, August 25th. Ballots should be turned in no later than Wednesday, August 28th. Ballots will be available in the church office for those who will not be attending this Sunday. Directions for voting will be on the ballot. Please contact the church office if you have any questions.
Join Lysa TerKeurst on the streets of Israel to explore the seven
I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. Through
this interactive, in-depth study, you will learn to:
• Trade feelings of emptiness and depletion for a more personal
fulfillment from knowing who Jesus is.
• Stop living like a slave to your circumstances by training your
heart to embrace the life-giving freedom God wants for you.
• Gain a better understanding of how Jesus' words 2,000 years ago are so very applicable to the answers we are
searching for today.
BEGINS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH AT 5:00 PM IN THE UPSTAIRS CONFERENCE ROOM

UPCOMING DATES FOR KIDS
YOUTH NEWS
I want to thank our accompanists and choir for all their dedication and hard
work on the anthem we shared last Sunday. It was a very demanding piece and
we have been working on it for over two months and there have been so many
interruptions in our regular choir rehearsal during July. What a great job! And
more than notes, rhythms, phrases, they all poured their hearts and minds into
sharing about the “Great I Am!” we worship each week! I hope that thought
continues to impact your hearts, minds and lives! The Great I Am of all the
universe who created everything, created us to have a relationship with Him!
May we never take it and as we talked about on Sunday night, may we “think of
our blessed Redeemer” and “think of Him all the day long!” Let our hearts and
minds focus on Him and His Word! Thanks Connie, Caren, David and the
entire Choir!!!
We will be gearing up for a new school year. We are still in need of a little help
with our graded choir program. One afternoon from 3:00 to 3:30 pm every two
months is all we ask. Consider helping us fill this need please!
Handbells, Children’s Choir and Ensembles all start back the second week of
September. The choir will be beginning Christmas at the beginning of Septem-
ber as well. It’s a great time to join the choir! No audition is necessary, just
come or let me know. We would love to have you join us! Randy

Proverbs 1:20-22(a) says…”20 Wisdom cries aloud in the street, in the mar-kets she raises her voice; 21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks: 22 “How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple?
Written by King Solomon, this truth reminds us that wisdom isn’t something that’s hidden or that’s available only to a few. It cries aloud in the street, mak-ing itself known. It’s among the people of the marketplace, making itself known. It’s at the busy city gates, making itself known. It’s available to all who pursue it. What a wonderful opportunity!
But sadly, some will choose to remain simple…in their knowledge and in their practice. Having the opportunity to become wise through the reading and studying of God’s Word, they choose to remain unaware of His instruction, causing them to go through this life helplessly and haplessly.
All have the ability to become wiser through the reading of the Bible, but those who choose to ignore it, will remain ignorant…uninformed…searching…and simple. What an unfortunate thing that it.
Let us determine to be a people who crave true wisdom. Not the wisdom of the world, but true wisdom. The wisdom that comes from God alone. The wisdom that He has chosen to share with us. The wisdom that’s readily availa-ble to us through His Word. Let us choose not to remain simple.
All the wisdom that we need…to navigate this life…is found in His Word.
Hebrews 10:32-39 this Sunday morning, so study up!
Love you all,
Bro. Chris
