Stetson, started the Stetson Family Office shortly after he personally led the buyout of The Coca-Cola Company through a public offering in August 1919. Kenneth H. Cooper, MD, MPH, Founder and Chairman, Cooper Aerobics Center “The father of aerobics”Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper, preventive medicine pioneer and “father of aerobics,” introduced the

concept of exercising in pursuit of good health when he launched the world-wide phenomenon Aerobics in 1968—his first of 19 books on health and fitness. His latest book, Start Strong, Finish Strong, is a collaboration with his son, Tyler Cooper, MD, MPH.

A former Air Force flight surgeon, Dr. Cooper invented the 12-minute and 1.5 mile fitness tests and Aerobics Point System. Dr. Cooper is founder and chairman of the renowned Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas, the home of six health and wellness companies and The Cooper Institute 501(c)3. His current focus is

working to help reverse the childhood obesity epidemic through school-based physical fitness and nutrition programs and assessments.

Dr. Cooper received his Bachelor of Science and Medical Degrees from the University of Oklahoma. He also holds a Master of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Cooper is board certified in preventive medicine.

John R. Dwyer, Jr., President, Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation (GAP)Mr. Dwyer is President of the Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation, which is dedicated to making the clinical trial process for Alzheimer’s

therapies substantially more efficient thereby speeding cures to patients afflicted with the disease.

Mr. Dwyer first became a CEO at the age of 30. In the following years, he held “C” level positions in six emerging growth companies in the healthcare industry. John previously served as the co-founder and Chairman of Telcare, Inc. and CEO of e-Medex, Inc., which later merged with Active Health Management to become the leading provider of health information management services.

Mr. Dwyer co-founded Us Against Alzheimer’s, a patient advocacy group focused on Alzheimer’s and the first political action committee focused on a specific disease. John is on the Board of Directors for various private and not-for-profit organizations and is a graduate of Marquette University and Cornell Law School.

Dr. Ernie Hawk, Vice President and Division Head Division of Cancer Prevention & Population Sciences, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

Ernest Hawk, MD, MPH, is vice president and division head for Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and holds the T. Boone Pickens Distinguished Chair for Early Prevention of Cancer. Additional responsibilities include leadership of the Duncan Family Institute for Cancer Prevention and Risk Assessment which fuels critical prevention research initiatives and infrastructures of the center, as well as service as co-leader of MD Anderson’s Cancer Prevention and Control Platform.

He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and his MPH degree from Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, he received training in internal medicine and served as a staff physician at Emory University, completed a medical oncology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, and completed a cancer prevention fellowship at the National Cancer Institute.

Anna Giuliano, Professor and Director Center for Immunization and Infection Research in Cancer (CIIRC), H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa, Florida

Anna R. Giuliano, PhD, is the founding director of the Center for Immunization and Infection Research in Cancer (CIIRC) at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. She received her doctorate from Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts, continuing her studies at the New England Epidemiology Institute in Boston and at the University of Arizona in Tucson as a National Cancer Prevention and Etiology Fellow. From 1993 to 1998 she was the recipient of an NIH National Cancer Institute Preventive Oncology Career Development Award.

An expert in the field of cancer research, she has been actively involved in cancer epidemiology and prevention studies conducted among diverse populations in the United States and abroad. Dr. Giuliano has been honored to receive two important awards from the American Cancer Society (ACS). In 2013, she was the recipient of the ACS Distinguished Achievement in Cancer Award. In 2018, she was selected for the ACS Clinical Research Professor Award for “Prevention of Infection-Related Cancers.” In 2019, Dr. Giuliano received the American Society of Preventive Oncology (ASPO) Fraumeni Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Giuliano has authored ~ 400 peer-reviewed publications.

John J. Ratey, Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical SchoolBest-selling author, John J. Ratey, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and an internationally

recognized expert in Neuropsychiatry. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles, and 11 books published in 17 languages, including the groundbreaking ADD-ADHD “Driven to Distraction” series with Ned Hallowell, MD. With the publication of “Spark-The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain,” Dr. Ratey has established himself as one of the world’s foremost authorities on the brain-fitness connection. His most recent book, “Go Wild,” explores how we can achieve optimal physical and mental health.

Recognized by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America since 1997, Dr. Ratey was recently honored by the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society as “Outstanding Psychiatrist of the Year” for advancing the field. I Leslie Rubin MD, Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Morehouse School of Medicine Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Emory University School of Medicine

Dr. Rubin is Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Morehouse School of Medicine, Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine, Co-director of the Southeast Pediatric Environmental Health Unit at Emory University, Medical Director of The Rubin Center for Autism and Developmental Pediatrics, and Founder of Break the Cycle of Health Disparities Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.

As a Developmental Pediatrician, he has provided care for children and adults with developmental disabilities for decades, and in 2016 published the 3rd edition of his text: Health Care for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Across the Lifespan, (Springer Switzerland).

As an Environmental Pediatrician in 2004, he started a program called: Break the Cycle of Children’s Environmental Health Disparities, to raise awareness of children’s environmental health disparities and cultivate future leaders. This program, now in its 15th year, has resulted in the publication of more than 100 student papers in 10 international journal supplements and 10 Books with Nova, publishers in their Public Health Series.

Meryl Comer, a Co-founder and chair of The Global Alliance on Women’s Brain Health and a co-founder of Women Against Alzheimer’s/USA2 Network. Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist,

leading Alzheimer’s advocate and New York Times bestselling author of Slow Dancing with a Stranger, Meryl Comer is a co-founder of Women Against Alzheimer’s/USA2 Network and The Global Alliance on Women’s Brain Health. Ms. Comer has served as President and CEO of the Geoffrey Beene Foundation Alzheimer’s Initiative from 2007-2019, a catalyst funder with a vision toward the future, targeting dementia prevention through spirited public engagement campaigns, early assessment technologies, support of the first “virtual registry” as a power pool for big data, and pre-clinical AD research to modify disease risk.

Meryl is also Co-Principal Investigator for the PCORI Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Patient & Caregiver Powered Research Network, a partnership of the Mayo Clinic, UCSF Brain Health Registry and UsAgainstAlzheimer’s. She serves on the NIH National Advisory Council on Aging, and in 2012, led the formation of the 21st Century BrainTrust®, a non-profit partnership to advance mobile health technologies and brain health.

Miia Kivipelto, MD, PhD, Professor in Clinical Geriatrics at Karolinska Institutet (KI), Center for Alzheimer Research and senior geriatrician and Director for Research & Development of Theme Aging

at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden. Part of her Nordic Brain Network multidisciplinary research team (around 100 researchers and clinical staff) is located at University of Eastern Finland and Imperial College London, UK. Her frontline research findings have been published in leading journals (300+ publications, H-index 66) and she has received numerous prestigious awards.

Dr. Kivipelto’s translational research focuses on the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cognitive impairment, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Professor Kivipelto is the PI of the landmark FINGER Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) (Finnish Geriatric Intervention Study to Prevent Cognitive Impairment and Disability).

Based on these collaborations, Professor Kivipelto has launched the World Wide FINGERS Initiative (alz.org/wwfingers), which 25 countries have already joined. She is also founder of the FINGERS Brain Health Institute (www.fbhi.se).

Professor Kivipelto has led global dementia conferences and task forces, including the G8 Dementia Summit, OECD Mapping for big data in Alzheimer research, WHO ministerial meeting in Global actions against dementia and WHO dementia risk reduction guidelines working group, among others.

Dr. Antonella Chadha Santuccione, Global Medical Leader for Alzheimer’s Disease Partnerships Dr. Antonella Santuccione Chadha is a medical doctor with expertise in clinical pathology,

neuroscience and psychiatric disorders. Currently she works as a Global Medical Leader for Alzheimer’s disease Partnerships between Roche Pharma and Roche Diagnostic. She is co-founder and CEO of the non-profit organization “Women’s Brain Project” which is addressing the influence of sex and gender on mental and brain disorders. As a medical doctor, Antonella has decades of experience in preclinical research, patient treatment, clinical development, and setting up the international regulatory framework for Alzheimer’s disease.

Always focused on solving the puzzles related to Alzheimers and other psychiatric diseases, she has worked with Swissmedic, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, several European universities, the EU commission for Health and Food Safety, the World Health Organization and several Alzheimer’s’ disease Organizations.

Sarah Lenz Lock, AARP’s Senior Vice President for Policy & Brain Health and Executive Director for the Global Council on Brain HealthSarah Lenz Lock is Senior Vice President for Policy

in AARP’s Policy, Research and International Affairs (PRI) where she helps position AARP as a thought leader addressing the major issues facing older Americans.

Ms. Lock serves as the Executive Director of the Global Council on Brain Health, an independent collaborative of scientists, doctors, and policy experts convened by AARP to provide trusted information on brain health. Previously, Ms. Lock was Senior Attorney/Manager at AARP Foundation Litigation conducting health care impact litigation on behalf of older persons.

Ms. Lock has been a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives to Congressman Michael D. Barnes working with the Federal Government Service Task Force, and also worked at the law firm of Arent, Fox, Kintner, Plotkin & Kahn.

Lee Habeeb, Founder and President of APRLee Habeeb, Founder and President of APR, which produces the nationally syndicated storytelling show, “Our American Stories,” which is currently the fastest growing radio show in America. He

has either co-created or supervised 6 of the Top 20 nationally syndicated shows in America. Habeeb is also a columnist for Newsweek. He is a University of Virginia Law School graduate.

Meesha Brown, Executive Director of PCI Media ImpactPCI Media Impact is an international NGO that specializes in storytelling and strategic communication to inspire change for a healthier,

more sustainable, and just world. Meesha is an award-winning producer and educator whose work includes the #ISurvivedEbola campaign – a multi-media education effort to share life-saving health knowledge and encourage reintegration of survivors during the 2014-2016 West Africa Ebola outbreak. Before working in the international development sector, she spent time in pk-12 public education including a tenure as Director of Literacy for New York City Public Schools.

Montel Williams, President, Montel Williams Enterprises, Inc.Montel Williams earned his media celebrity status as an Emmy Award winning television personality for more than 17 years. He is a decorated former

naval officer, inspirational speaker, author, entrepreneur and advocate for patients worldwide.

Shortly after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1999, Williams established the Montel Williams MS Foundation to further the scientific study of MS, provide financial assistance to select organizations and institutions conducting research, raise national awareness, and educate the public. The MWMSF has granted over $1.5 million dollars to research and has supported a study done at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, which discovered an MS gene. In 2013, Montel partnered with Union Springs Media and the creation of the Living Well with Montel online community.

Williams began his professional career in the US Marine Corps and was the first black Marine selected to the Naval Academy Prep School to then go on to graduate from the United States Naval Academy. While serving in the military Williams’ was the recipient of two Meritorious Service Medals, two Navy Commendation Medals, and two Navy Achievement Medals and various other military related awards and citations.

Lina Constantinovici – Founder, Innovation 4.4; Venture Partner, Moore Venture Partners Lina has been engaged in innovation in the public, private, and NGO sectors for over 20 years. In 2007, Lina led a research project for Lawrence

Berkeley National Lab, evaluating the rate of commercialization of patented technologies developed in the lab and identifying relevant market failures related to technology commercialization. In the domain of sustainable architecture and built environment innovation, Lina is the recipient of the international RE: STORE award for her future of retail design.

Over the past 12 years, Lina has built solutions for and supported high impact early-stage ventures. She is a university

lecturer on entrepreneurship, impact investing, sustainability, biomimetic innovation, the future of philanthropy, the evolution of global financial systems, and applied economics. Lina has spoken at over 250 conferences over the last 10 years, including at the Nobel Prize Summit, the United Nations, and NASA Centennial Challenge Launch.

George Vradenburg, President, Vradenburg FoundationGeorge Vradenburg, the Chairman and Co-Founder of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s (UsA2), a disruptive and catalytic force committed to

stopping Alzheimer’s by 2020. As a result of his UsA2 work, George was appointed to the World Dementia Council by Prime Minister David Cameron in March 2014.

In 2011, the United States Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services named George to serve on the National Alzheimer’s Advisory Council on Research, Care and Services. In 2013 George was appointed by Congress to the Long-Term Care Commission charged with devising a comprehensive long-term support and services plan for the United States. George is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Economic Club of Washington.

George received his B.A. from Oberlin College, magna cum laude, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D. from Harvard Law School, cum laude.

Dr. Joxel GarciaDr. Garcia led American Express’ global health and medical initiatives to increase employee health, the company’s Wellness Centers and award-winning Healthy Living initiatives. Dr.

Garcia was the Inaugural Executive Director at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Cancer Control and Prevention Platform. He has received numerous honors including the Secretary of Defense Award for Exceptional Public Service, and the U.S. Public Health Service Distinguished Service Award.

After starting his medical career as an obstetrician/gynecologist, he became the Commissioner for the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. He received a Presidential appointment as the 14th U.S. Assistant Secretary of Health, becoming a Four-Star Admiral for the United States Public Health Service and the U.S. Representative to the World Health Organization.

Following this, Dr. Garcia served as President and Dean of Medicine for Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences in his native Puerto Rico. In 2012, he served as the Director and Chief Medical Officer for the Washington, D.C. Department of Health and as partner with Aegis Health Security. Dr. Garcia has served on several national boards, including the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force and the National Dialogue on Cancer.
