Global Delivery Initiative Case Study - Enhancing Natural Forest and Agro-Forest Landscape project (ENFALP) in Ghana (World Bank)
CIF has entered into a learning partnership with the Global Delivery Initiative (GDI) as part of an effort to showcase CIF project-level results and lessons learned.
GDI is a collaborative effort to create a collective evidence of delivery know-how.
This case study includes delivery challenges and solutions for this project and also outlines some of the valuable lessons learned during implementation.

Impact Evaluation – Gazetted Forests Participatory Management Project for REDD+ in Burkina Faso (AfDB)
• The CIF is collaborating with the World Bank Group’s Development Impact Evaluation (DIME)
• Design of effective PES approaches— linear payments appear to outperform threshold payments both in terms of the absolute number and quality of surviving trees
• Linkages between conservation incentives & food security outcomes
• Innovative Dry Forest Mapping -precise data gathering is not only necessary but possible.
Three early evidence briefs on this IE have been published (in English & French)
