Pictures and Pie Chart Using 365

• When you “Edit Workbook”, choose to “Open in Excel”– Pie Chart: Follow the directions for Using

Regular Excel on Computer on the following slides

– Pictures: Copy and Paste from website

Pie Chart Using Regular Excel on Computer

1. Highlight all of your Item Names2. Press and HOLD the Control Key (Ctrl)3. Highlight all of your Total Costs4. Click the “Insert” Tab and choose “Pie”

Using Regular Excel on Computer

5. In the “Design” tab, choose the chart layout that has the percent and a title bar

6. Give your pie chart an appropriate title

7. Make sure the chart is big enough to see all of the items in the key

Pictures Using Google Drive

• You will need to save each picture as a file• On your spreadsheet, go to the “Insert” Tab• Choose “Image”• Click on “Choose an image to upload”

Pie Chart Using Google Drive• Select a blank cell• Go to “Insert” and choose “Chart”

• Click on the icon in “Data Select Ranges”

Using Google Drive• When the “What Data” box pops up, highlight all of your

item names• Click on “Add another range”• Highlight all of your unit costs (but NOT the overall sum

underneath them)• Click ok• Click on the Pie Chart picture• Click Insert• Give your pie chart an appropriate title

Submitting Your Project

• Make sure the excel file is saved with last names in file name

• Everyone can email to mangle@cbsd.org– On email, the SUBJECT line should read “GHP Partner Name 1 and Partner Name 2”
