Fingerprint Recognition System with Source Code

This project is based on biometric fingerprint recognition module. It can add new fingerprints andsearch for existing fingerprints stored in its memory. The microcontroller used is Atmel AT89S52. Itprovides interface for Switches, LCD and Serial Data to PC. On PC we give software in VB.NETwith source code which you can modify to suit your application. We also provide full source code forMCU AT89S52 which you can study and modify as per your application.

We provide fully tested and assembled unit with source for MCU and PC software on CDROM. It istested thoroughly before we ship to you. We provide all necessary parts as part of package. You

just have to provide power of around 12V and you get started.

About Fingerprint Recognition Sensor Module

The sensor is a solid-state fingerprint sensor that reliably captures fingerprint information. It isdesigned to integrate into devices for improved security and convenience. The sensor provides areliable, quick and user-friendly alternative to passwords, PIN's and other forms of userauthentication.

This fingerprint scanner is capable of gathering and storing unique finger prints. Simply hold yourfinger on the optical scanner, query the device over serial, and you will be issued a unique ID. Usethat ID within your embedded system to determine access levels, time clocks, door locks, etc. Unitincludes 4 pin connector cable to connect and read to controller. The outputs is TTL level serialdata.

A biometric sensor, fingerprint sensor to be specific, also known as the fingerprint reader, is afingerprint image capture device, the very front end of the biometric fingerprintidentification/verification module. The fingerprint sensor captures the fingerprint images, matchesthe uniqueness of each print read by the sensor and compares it to the one stored in its module orlocal system database.

It consists of optical fingerprint sensor, high performance DSP processor and Flash. It boasts offunctions such as fingerprint enrollment, fingerprint deletion, fingerprint verification, fingerprintupload, fingerprint download, etc.
