Finding the right marriage partner Declaration Prayer

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 Thank You Lord, for You have already planned my

future. I pray that You would lead and guide me according to Your plans that lead to prosperity, establishment and enlargement.

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help mate.” Genesis 2:18Thank You Lord for making a helpmate for me. I pray that You would lead us towards each other and into marriage to fulfill Your purposes in our lives.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.” Ecclesiastes 4:9

Thank You Lord for Your Word that says that as a couple we will be stronger and will receive a good reward as we prioritize you, our family and labor towards Your kingdom.

"He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" Proverbs 18:22

Father, I pray that You would help me choose the wife who would compliment and complete me. Thank You, that just as Your Word says, she will be a blessing in my life and through her I will receive Your favor.

“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” Ephesians 5:25

Father I pray that you would help me choose the husband who would love and respect me as Christ loved the church. He would learn to hold fast onto me, as your Word says and we shall be one flesh.

“What God has joined together, let not man separate.” Matthew 19:6

Lord, I pray that my marriage would be blessed and our relationship as husband and wife will be inseparable. In Jesus’ name I ask. AMEN.

“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:14
