Find a Dissertation Using ProQuestA step-by-step guide

Step 1 Choose the ProQuest database from the drop-down menu or alphabetical list on the Research Hub homepage, or click on the link at the EL618 library guide.

Step 2 Enter your search terms, and choose “Dissertations & Theses”

Step 3 For immediate full text results, narrow results by full text

Step 4 Click on the “Full text – PDF” link for the full dissertation

Step 5 To request a dissertation that is not in full text, click the Find it! button

Step 6 Two clicks to request the item via WSU Interlibrary Loan

Step 7 Enter your 14-digit code on the back of your WSU ID. Your password is your last name.

Step 8 Ensure the form is filled out correctly, then click the box for the copyright agreement, and click GO.
