Register now — space is limited!The annual Southwest Veterinary Symposium Design Conference is for veterinarians and practice managers planning to design, remodel or build a small animal or mixed practice veterinary hospital. From fi nancing options to project conception through construction to completion, come learn from the best professionals in the business. Presenters will provide critical information to help you achieve success with your hospital project.

The program is designed to fi t your individual needs; you may register for one or both days of the Design Conference. Those who pre-register may opt for an individual 30-minute consultation with an architect (you will be able to sign up for a specifi c time slot prior to the Design Conference).

REGISTRATION: Veterinarians and practice managers are invited to register for the Design Conference. The course fee is $100 for Thursday only, $195 for Friday only, and $245 for both days. Registrants may opt for an individual 30-minute consultation with an architect (you will be able to sign up for a time slot before the Design Conference). The registration fee includes Design Conference proceedings, a box lunch on Thursday, refreshment breaks, and coffee and muffi ns on Friday morning. The deadline to register is August 10. Cancellations must be received before August 10; a $25 cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations received after August 10 are subject to payment of the full registration fee. Cancellations must be received in writing. This is a ticketed event; guests of registered veterinarians are not allowed admittance unless they register and pay to attend the Design Conference.

CE CREDIT: The Design Conference provides a total of 13.5 hours of CE for both days (5.5 hours for Thursday only and 8 hours for Friday only). Participants are advised to check with their state licensing board for the number of hours they can claim for practice management (nonscience CE).

SWVS is owned by fi ve partner state VMAs, each of which is an affi liate of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). These state veterinary medical exam boards accept/approve SWVS for CE credit. Registrants from other states should check with their state Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners regarding approval of SWVS CE credit.

A maximum of 29 CE credit hours is available for the SWVS General Symposium. Additional credit hours are available as listed below. In addition, DVMs licensed in Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas may claim 2 hours of CE for visiting the SWVS Exhibit Hall. Please check with your state veterinary medical licensing board for specifi c CE allowances and requirements. It is the individual’s responsibility to maintain and submit CE records as required. Attendees are encouraged to consult their state licensing board for specifi c allowances and any restrictions on the number of hours accepted for specialty and nonscience sessions (for example, practice management).

CE Verifi cation Procedures for DVMs and Technicians1. CHECK-IN – Upon arrival at the Dallas Convention Center,

check in at the registration area, where your badge will be scanned to verify your attendance.

2. TRACK YOUR ATTENDANCE – Use the CE Checklist provided in your bag to record your presence at each session you attend.

3. PICK UP A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION – At the end of the Symposium, stop by the CE desk in the registration area to obtain your Certifi cate of Completion. Maintain the certifi cate along with the CE Checklist in your fi les. Certifi cates will be available on Sunday at the close of the Symposium. If you do not plan to attend the entire Symposium, you may pick up your Certifi cate at the end of the day you leave.
