I represent the Agribusiness Development Institute, which is fielding the Farm Operator Survey in

Moldova. The study is funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation, an agency of the U.S.

Government, and is being guided by Mathematica Policy Research, a US-based organization.

You have been selected for an interview based on the fact that you farm a land plot located in an

“Apele Moldovei” Central Irrigation System Area or adjacent to this area. Your participation is

very important to understand the situation of farmers in your region. The information that we will

collect will serve to measure the impact of rehabilitation of irrigation infrastructure in Moldova.
