  • 1. Stay OrganizedMy Friends Organization is Key! o Make sure you have separate folders and notebooks for each course (MAR 255, FIN 256, SCM 265). o As basic and ideal as it sounds, you MUST have both pens and pencils ready for each class. Important to use pencils for supply chain as you are constantly designing business logistics, working with charts, and using small graphs o Its easier to mess up in Supply Chain and have to re-do the graphs than in any other course

2. Time management is the key to success Know exactly what days you have core and when you do not Know exactly every free time slot you have daily throughout the week Allocate enough time for homework, quizzes, and studying for that week Plan it out. Memorize your weekly schedule and create a routine for yourself that you will abide by on a weekly basis Ex: Every Tuesday and Thursday I would do my Marketing homework during my free hour and a half lunch break because I knew it was due that night 3. Wake up early everydayand get used to it It is extremely crucial to get a head start on the day o Wake up at least an hour and a half before your first Core class o Use this time to: Make sure you are not behind on homework assignments, review what you are going to be doing in class, write down questions you have for the teacher, get caught up if you are falling behind, and most importantly..get prepared for the day Plan out your days schedule, notice when you have free time and strategize how you are going to efficiently optimize that free time 4. You know whats ahead..MARK IT DOWN!! Helpful Tip to better navigate through your assignment schedule 6. Professor. Wimer, thank you for being the toughest teacher in all of core and expecting us to get a good grade by putting 9 chapters of material on your midterm and final.real smart (MAR 255) Professor. Amira, thank you for actually being able to somewhat explain corporation finance and for teaching me a new language..but work on your accent! (FIN 256) Professor. Hekimoglu, Supply Chain will never be my forte, but as a extremely young non-professor, you held your ground pretty well and opened up my eyes to the world of logistics. (SCM 265) CORE program, thanks.but no thanks, I still despise you.
