Week 1(Oct. 12-Oct. 18)

• After the professor gave us the instructions about the conversational group and the laboratory hours we were supposed to take I enrolled in the conversational group with Jorge on Wednesdays and at first I had enrolled on Thursdays but then changed to Fridays for my lab hours.

October 15th

• It was my first day of conversational group and Jorge gave us a free topic to talk about whatever we wanted.

• Each student spoke about themselves, and we got to know each other.

October 16th

• It was my first hour of lab and we opened a Blogger account and edited our profiles.

Week 2(Oct. 19-Oct. 25)

• This was my second week of laboratory and conversational hours.

October 22nd

• My second time meeting with my conversational group, Jorge gave us a topic and told us to elaborate it having a conversation.

• The topic was posting pictures in Facebook and MySpace of us partying and everyone seeing the pictures.

October 24th

• Second time in lab hours and we learned how to post documents and blogs into our Blogger accounts, and how to post pictures and videos in our blogs.

• And worked on Livemocha

October 30th

• Worked a little at my house on Livemocha

October 30th

Week 3(Oct. 26-Nov. 1)

• Third week of lab and conversational hours

October 29th

• I had no conversational because it was a free day in the university.

October 31st

• I believe I had already changed my lab hours from Thursdays to Fridays and this week we learned how to do a Power Point Presentation and uploading it to SlideShare to then upload it to our blog.

• And kept on working on Livemocha

Week 4(Nov. 2-Nov. 8)

• Fourth week of my hours for my English class

November 5th

• Jorge gave us a paper that he had planned to give us the week before about prepositions and dismissed us.

November 6th

• Worked on Livemocha at my house.

November 7th

• Kept on working on Livemocha

• Started one of the sites I had proposed on my Learning Plan

Week 5(Nov. 9-Nov. 15)

• Week 5 and I’m still working on Livemocha!

November 11th

November 12th

• Jorge took us outside for a little fresh air, and we had to write a story that had made us happy and a story that had made us sad or mad and explain each story in front of the group.

November 14th

• Worked on both Livemocha and reading for ESL students

Week 6(Nov.16-Nov. 22)

• Week # 6 and I was already done with my lessons on Livemocha and had earned several achievements

• This was my last week of both conversational and lab

hours

November 19th

• We had no conversational because it was a free day.

November 21st

• I worked on another site for my reading but kept on doing TOEFL on Livemocha

Weeks to come

• I’m sure I’m still going to work on livemocha even outside class hours because I really enjoy it.

• I’ll even maybe enroll in new languages!
