n this week’s page on HEADPHONE JACKING we have accosted the talented ears of Nyron, the UK’s most promising musician/ producer. Born and raised right here in Bromey. Nyron got his big break performing at open mike venues and landed a major deal with Domino records. We tactfully caught up with Nyron after a show where he opened a bone shattering performance on the HEADPHONE TOUR. He opened this transcendent set for the likes of Phoenix, Killowatt and Pendulum. We got him to tell us about what insipres him to try and reveal his musical genius.
A record by my heroBurial by Peter Tosh – Legalise it remains an essential part of Reggae music, conveying Tosh’s intricate emo-tions. Burial’s grim lyrics laced with subtle, uplifting melodies and the power of a rebellious voice presented Tosh as a musical warrior who would preach the truth of mankind. I think it is inspirational.
My karaoke songRock the kasber – No matter where I am or what I’m doing whenever I hear this song I always feel the need to sing along. Whether it’s because it speaks to me on so many levels or because it’s just an epic tune, this song always puts a smile on my face. It challenges a lot of ideas about religion which I think is important. The song is thought provoking and a lot of fun to listen to.
Right now I’m loving Hurricane by Bob Dylan- The song is incredibly writ-ten it sort of tells a story, I think that this song has a lot of historical signifi cance, mostly concerning the events that took place when it was released. I enjoy this song a lot, it makes you think, not to mention Bob Dylans ingenious writing skills, the man has a way with words, it’s incredible.
Nyron has worked with many big names like The Tem-per Trap, Breaking Benjamin and Boniver. Nyron’s ear for music has made him big and now he wants to tackle a more drum n’base audience to see what he can do. Nyron co-produced temper traps new album See no evil Hear no evil. Nyron also told us about what is was like working with new rising star LYKKI LI heres what he had to say.
“She was great to work with, she has alot of passion for her music, which is rare these days. I really believe shes gonna go far , shes a very talented young woman and I really enjoyed working with her on her new album”So there you have it, the raw talent and pure skill of Nyron. HEADPHONE’S offi cial music guru. Look out for his upcoming album “An Honest Lie”, which will be hitting stores next week.
I think its inspirational
