Dearant...She opens up, for the first time.

ant...

It’s all about her right now, whether she is walking about London town wrapped in transparent lace, or releasing yet another heartstopping single. Ant is back and wants everyone to know about it!

“I just want people to believe in me”The past three years have been filled to the brim with a flood of emotions for the 17 year old. From being dropped from her first record company to being signed with the worlds biggest company EMI and grabbing the opportunity to become one of Vivienne Westwood’s inspirations for her Winter 2010 collection. She arrives, dressed in a cute mini and plaid hooded jacket. Her scuffed army like boots and pretty bow socks shouldn’t work, but they do. Her politeness is dazzling and before we are introduced she is already offering everyone on set “cuppa tea and some bourbans?” Her favourite! Her deep brown eyes, have me mezmorised. Her heavy yet nautural liner is so perfect. Ant’s bedroom, the nexus of so much dramatic fodder on her new album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, is a large, girly den: a Victorian rolltop bath set into the middle of the room, an unmade bed.

Her busy year has already taken a hectic line up! With a set of gigs all across Britain and festival appearances in the summer!

“Its so weird, i used to go to all the festivals...Now I’m performing”It’s so weird, at the age of 15 i used to run away from home to be able to attend the likes of Glasto and Leeds, now im headlining there! “Pinch me!” Her Family are seperated, “When my parents spilt i was so happy, i mean my relation-ship with my mom wasnt exactly the best.” With her two younger sisters living with her mom, Ant with her dad. “My relationship with him was never the best, now i love my old man!” .Family obviously means eve-rything to her, and they must believe in her talents!

It was Jools Holland himself who found Ant’s talent, she has appeared on his show on many occasions, “Jools is great, a true friend!” Being utterly beautiful you would think she would be snapped up by some gorgeous rock star! She giggles when i mention boys and insists there is noone right now, her views on boys makes me laugh!

“Boys smell!”no worries of marriage just yet! Her future could hold anything possible, her dreams could so very easily be fufiled! She states that the music buisness is not where she wants to end up. “I’ve always dreamt of becoming a gardner!” Her love of wildlife and flowers and mud! She spends most of her spare time decorating her appartment in South London or on her knees in her small yet pleasing garden!

She sips her tea and watches the world go by from the window. “My dream is to travel, i want to see eve-rything!” She has the world in her hands!

“Pinch me, I’m dreaming!” This down to earth south deserves all the success, and i wish her all the best in life! Her new album “When the Rain” comes out on the 14th April. Make sure you buy it! And her debut modeling career sets of in the summer for London Fashion week! Reporter, Megz
