DeMain has also had a hand in developing new products, some of which are considered standards in todays retail display industry. Altuglas currently manufactures and markets more than a quarter of the world's production of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) technology.With more than 10 years experience working with the design team at Best Buy - the world's largest specialty consumer electronics retailer - Hornblad has contributed to numerous notable projects for the companys many different locations, and has also served as a liaison between the companys business team and multiple manufacturers and fixture vendor teams.   • The reason we used acrylic was that we wanted a thicker, stable easel to help support the pricing information. The part needed to have a higher end look, and as the acrylic would relatively never receive impacts or stress, acrylic was our best solution.
