Inspection Procedure

1. Complete Dealer, Customer & MachineIdentification section below.

2. Check fluid levels and service points as listed,page two. Conduct visual inspection, noting allmissing items and items requiring additionalwork. This should be performed during

Assemble machine segment of the Work Order.

3. Refer to Service Manual for specifications and tothe Assemble Machine segment in the WorkOrder to complete Operation Test Part 1.Conduct test on the excavator using proper tools

and record actual readings on the Quality ControlRecord.

4. Bring excavator up to operating temperature andcomplete Operation Test Part 2 portion of theinspection. Note any defects. This should beperformed during the Test Machine segment ofthe Work Order.

5. Park excavator let it cool and inspect for leaks,loose connections and so forth. This should alsobe done during the Test Machine segment of theWork Order.

6. Return the Final Inspection Form to ServiceManagement if necessary, explain any defectsfound.

7. Service shop repairs all defects and sign off. Themachine proceeds to the paint shop. TheInspection Form is retained until painting iscompleted, all guards, etc installed.

8. The form should be used to inspect the excavatorafter it is painted. Any defects found should benoted and repaired. This inspection should beperformed during the Pre-deliver Machine

segment of the Work Order

9. The Final Inspection Form should be signed,dated, and the service meter recorded.

10. The completed Final Inspection Form should befiled in the Machine History Folder.
