My idol is Beyonce. I have always looked - not just in music, but also in fashion and the way she handles her problems. So I would love to do a song with her, that would be a dream come true. Since hearing about the next big thing to hit the music scene, Fast-Forward have been very excited to get to know Mairead Saunders and find out what we will all be seeing on our tv screens from her.

So no one has heard of Mairead’s musical talent yet, but she is deter-mined to make sure that everyone knows her this spring/summer. Growing up in the Midlands she feels that the talent there isn’t getting noticed like it should be, so ith her found talent she is hop-ing to get the Midlands planted on the talent map!

Mairead! Its so good to finally meet you! How has the first

month and a half of 2011 been for you?*Laughs* Ah, well, they’ve been kind of crazy to be honest! Lots of early morn-ings, recording and meet-ings have been involved but im slowly getting used to it all. Meetings? What kind of meetings are these? Anything juicy that we can know about?Yeah, I’ve been having a lot of meetings with record labels to see which one I feel most comfortable with and which one I feel can help me and my music the most. Luckily I have had three pretty big record la-bels ask me if I want to
