INTRODUCTION

Axis bank is an Indian financial services corporation

headwater in Mumbai Maharashtra.

The bank was promoted jointly by UTI-I, LIC , UIIC

& OIC.

The 1st branch was inaugurated by Dr. Manmohan

Singh is 1994.

As on march 31st 2012 axis bank had an operating

revenue of 13437 Crores and a net profit of 4242

Crores.
