Elica Group motors business unit, originates from FIME, acompany founded in 1974, as electric motors designer andmanufacturer. Strong of its thirty years long experience inventilation and heating, Elica Group Company is today,under FIME Brand, leader on both markets.Due to the spirit of complete harmony and cooperation thathas always characterized relations with large industrialgroups, Elica Group could develop a strong Know -how notonly in the electromechanical motor design, but also in fluiddynamic and electronic design that allow us today to offer tothe market integrated systems and air treatment devices .Design, is also carried out and monitored internally in thesame way of production. Our technical dept. is equippedwith the most modern tools for calculation and simulation influid dynamics, electromagnetism, integrated systems and,last but not least, mechanical structure. Besides the virtualinstruments the technical dept. is equipped with tools tosupport and validate projects as well as products. Aligned with the Elica Group industrial policy, the motorbusiness has a production philosophy respectful of peopleand the environment welfare. FIME branded ventilationsystems comply with sustainability and energy savingEuropean standards. Nowadays the achieved technicalknow-how has allowed Elica to enter the commercialrefrigeration business, where technologically advanced andenergy saving products are required.

Centrifugal fans

FIME uses technology to customize its product rangeand experiments innnovative solutions to improve performances.

Centrifugal blower range are specifically designedfor ventilation appliances, like cooker hoods, aircurtains and conditioning system, where highpressure and compact dimensions are required.

Compliant with ErP directives (Commission Regulation(EU) No 125/2011).

Plastics, sheet metal and die casting housings, withforward or backward sheet metal or plastic impellersavailable. All blowers are equipped with wide rangeof motorizations (from shaded poles to high efficiencyinduction capacitor motors) to cover air deliveries upto 1100 m3/h, granting low noise emissions. A fullrange of accessories, including retail valves, filters,capacitor housings and connectors, has beendeveloped. Customized versions are available tosatisfy all customer needs.
