1. Filming OurDocumentary Pets at Home By Melissa Edwards & Hannah Mealor & Eve Blakemore

2. Filming in the pet shop, we took it in turns to film different parts of the petshop for our cutaways getting as many shots as possible that will match theinterview that was set out. This was all hand held camera work and used avariety of shots such as panning, zooming, tilts etc. What went well was thatthe animals were very active and we were able to get exciting and entertainingshots for example the parrot dancing. What didnt go so well is that because itwas hand held some shots were shaky. During this we used the HD kit. 3. When filming Mr Warren with his love of chickens and other pets, thesepictures show us setting up making sure he is in the right place, we decidedit would look better if he held one of the chickens which we did during theinterview. We did a variety of shots such as a medium close up and a mid-shot. What didnt go so well is that he look towards the camera a few timesso will need a lot of cutaways. What went well is the mise-en-scene and thecamera shot. Melissa filmed the interview while Hannah was asking thequestions. During this we used the HD kit. 4. We all went to film the breeder, while Melissa and eve set up Hannah wentthough the questions with him. We filmed him in his house in his ownliving room were the dogs he breed were born. During this filming wedidnt realise the sound wasnt working so we had to go back and do itagain, this time we checked twice to see if everything was working. Weused the HD kit. When we went to film Ruth the vet, Melissa set up the camera and evewent though the questions with the vet before starting the interview. Theonly thing wrong with this was that the mise-en-scene wasnt very good asit had nothing to do with a vets. During this we used the HD kit.Unfortunately our pictures have been deleted so we are unable to showyou us filming. 6. We filmed the opening titles at Melissas house. All three off us went here,Hannah set up the camera, while Melissa and eve were telling the dogs whatto do. We used the HD kit and did it as hand held camera work.Unfortunately our pictures have been deleted so we are unable to show youus filming. 7. When filming the vox pops, Melissa filmed while Eve asked the questionsand Hannah took pictures. We asked people around Liscard while theywere shopping, out of about 15 people we asked only 5 agreed to befilmed. After the people agreed we asked if they would put themicrophone on so there was better sound quality. When doing this weused the HD kit. 8. When filming Hannah Jones, we all went to her house and decided thebest place to film her was her bed room. We asked her questions aboutdisliking pets, Hannah asked the questions and filmed while Eve tookpictures and Melissa set up and ensured that the angle of the camera andshot was perfect. We used the HD kit for this interview.
