The milk transport vehicles are equipped with RFID tags. Now every transport step can be tracked: from the laboratory test to quality inspection to the pumps moving milk from the vehicle tank to the storage containers to cleaning of the vehicle tank. This optimizes transport and ensures reliability. Since the data is transmitted directly, the time until the laboratory confirms the inspection is shortened for example. When the raw product is delivered it must first be detected and identified. This is done using so-called PDF417 codes located on the raw product. Unfortunately, these codes are frequent-ly not at the same height. Using the portable reader BVS HS-P the codes can still be read simply and flexibly.

Filling involves monitoring the height and diameters of bottles. This is done using the high-resolution BLA light array. First, the BLA detects the width of the bottle neck and compares it with previously taught-in values. Second, the correct cap is selected.
