    deonstrates anageents coitent to health and safety and sets goals

    and ob*ecti&es for the organi!ation" then to the #organi%ation# !ection" thepurpose of which is to allocate health and safety responsibilities within the

    copany" to ensure effecti&e control" copetency" cooperation and to set up

    lines of counication" and finally" to the#arrangement!#section which setsout in detail the systes and procedures to ipleent the policy such as

    controlling ha!ards" pro&ision of ++E" eergency procedures" onitoring"

    plant and e,uipent etc.

    (b) The signature of the ost senior person in the organi!ation would deonstrate

    anageent coitent" responsibility for health and safety in the

    organi!ation" to set" appro&e and re&iew the policies and to ensure theresources for effecti&e ipleentation of health - safety.
