The Yamasaki Y16 is a precision fiber optic cleave tool with a diamond blade designed for all 125μm Multimode or Singlemode optical fibers. The adjustable blade can perform up to 30,000+ cleaves with a typical cleave angle of 90 ± 0.5°. The intuitive design of the single pass cleave mechanism ensure that the Yamasaki Y16 Fiber Optic Cleave Tool is quick, smooth and simple to operate. The Yamasaki Y16 Fiber Optic Cleave Tool features a durable metal chassis, replaceable blade, handy adjustment tool, soft carry case & instruction manual. Fiber Optic Light Sources are a powerful tool when used in conjunction with an Optical Power Meter for testing attenuation loss in fiber optic cable links. Our fiber optic light sources can also be used as tone generators for use with an Optical Fiber Identifier (OFI) for the purpose of fiber identification. Tones are generated on the following frequencies: 270Hz, 1kHz & 2kHz.
The Yamasaki TL01 Fiber Optic Light Source is a precision quad wavelength fiber optic light source. This handheld unit has a rugged design and an ultra-bright backlit LCD screen making it very easy to operate. Featuring universal adaptors, a high visibility yellow casing, protective belt pouch and handy carry strap, it is perfect for virtually any fiber optic test environment. It operates over 850nm, 1300nm, 1310nm and 1550nm.
Other Models

The Yamasaki TP01 Fiber Optic Power Meter is a high quality multi-functional device that has been specifically designed for the installation, construction and maintenance of fiber optic networks. It features a rugged outer housing, bright backlight, auto shut off function, wide measurement range, universal connector and is capable of exceptionally accurate testing and self-calibration. The stability and reliability are greatly enhanced due to the implementation of the large square 1.0mm InGaAs detector. It is ideal for use in fiber optic telecommunications and data networks and capable of accurately measuring wavelengths of 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550 & 1625nm. The Yamasaki TPO1A is available for higher power applications.

The Yamasaki TP31 PON Power Meter is a quick and accurate optical power meter designed specifically for the FTTH / FTTx installation & testing environment. It simultaneously measures 1310/1490/1550nm wavelengths and displays results in real-time on an ultra-bright LCD screen.
Pass / Fail / Warning indicators allow for instant assessment of power values. The USB port in the top of the TP31 allows for downloading, saving, printing of results, pass/fail threshold modification and self calibration using the included PC software and USB cable. This rugged hand held unit includes a removable rubberized boot, an ultra-bright backlight, an auto shut off function, a wide measurement range, upstream burst mode, and a universal SC connector.

The Yamasaki TV650 Visible Fault Identifier is a practical pocket sized device designed to find breaks, bends and faulty connectors or splices in fiber optic cable. This basic piece of test equipment is a very useful tool for any person working with optical fiber. The VFI shines a very bright laser through the cable, causing all cracks, splits or leaks to glow a brilliant bright red.
The laser can also be made to flash quickly to aid in fiber optic fault location. The TV650 features an extremely bright 1mW Class 2 laser, making it useful over several miles of fiber optic cable. It comes ready to go with carry case, batteries & universal adaptor.

The Yamasaki TF916 Optical Fiber Identifier is an essential part of any professional fiber optic toolkit. It’s sleek and intelligent design allows the user to identify traffic, traffic direction, wavelength and optical power within any singlemode optical fiber simply by inserting fiber into the head of the device.
The easy to read ultra-bright LED display and audible tone make operation easier and can save you valuable time in the field. The outer casing is comprised of an anodized aluminum making it lightweight yet tough and easy to carry around. The total kit includes four adaptor heads to suit various optical fiber types with minimal bend loss (These are – 250 & 900 Micron, 2.0 and 3.0mm).

Variable Optical Attenuator
The Yamasaki TVOA1 Variable Optical Attenuator is another new development designed for introducing precise amounts of attenuation into an active fiber cable. Attenuation can be adjusted in 0.05dB steps, it is suitable for use in PON, PDH, SDH, SONNET networks and also in systems using analog modulation (CATV).
Attenuation is shown on the LCD screen in both dB and dBm. On shut down the TVOA1 stores your settings and attenuation stepping, so that next time you turn it on, the TVOA1 is ready to use with your previous settings.

The Yamasaki FiberSpy is the latest in fiber inspection technology; it allows the user to get a clear view of an end face using 200x or 400x magnification. The portable design of the FiberSpy makes it perfect for use in the field. The FiberSpy can also be connected to a computer monitor for closer observation when used in a factory or workshop. 17Yamasaki Optical Line Terminal (OLT) products are specifically designed for FTTH/FTTx PON applications. An OLT consists of a chassis and a number of OLT cards. These OLT products are an essential part of EPON end-to-end FTTx solutions. The OLT is the origin of the transmission in PON architecture; it is responsible for distributing triple-play services in FTTx networks such as IP Telephony, IPTV and true high-speed broadband. The OLT controls the amount of bandwidth that is allocated from the central office to the customer by communicating with the ONT at the customer premises.
The Yamasaki GEO is a card based OLT module developed for use in gigabit PON deployments in conjunction with the Yamasaki RO1 OLT Chassis.

Yamasaki Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) have been developed specifically for use with EPON FTTH/FTTx applications. ONTs receive the information that is distributed via the OLT and is located on the customer premises. Installing an ONT on the premises enables the user to subscribe to triple-play services from the provider’s connection to the FTTH/FTTx network. Information sent to and from the ONT is encrypted to protect the privacy of the user.

Beginning at 1270nm and available in intervals of 20nm up to 1610nm. 1.25Gbps models are available in distances of 80km and 120km; 2.5Gbps models are available in 40km and 80km; and 4Gbps models are available in distances of 10km and 30km.
