The Festival of Ideas For The New City is the first of its kind for New Museum and New York. The three-day event which ran from May 4-8 was held along the Bowery, Rivington and Stanton Streets. Colorful pink and blue tents whimsically called, "The Worms" dotted along a portion of the Bowery. The event's initiative was to bring community leaders and organizations together to share and explore creative ideas for a future city. Art, natural products, food, gardening, architecture and composting were just some of the many areas innovative ideas were being presented on. New Museum is located on 235 Bowery.
