outside the office at least part-time; it was just a few million in 1990. (WorldAt Work, Human Resources Association)
• HEALTHY WORKPLACE - The telework option was among the responses explored by companies to the H1N1 virus outbreak. Companies that have networks of home workers could continue productivity when competitors have fallen ill. (Mpls Business Journal, Sept. 2009)
• ENVIRONMENT - Telecommuting includes reduction in highway congestion, reduced emission of pollutants, as well as savings in energy and petroleum consumption. . (Inquirer, Sept. 2007)
