The PennEast Pipeline Project is an approximately 114-mile, 36-inch diameter natural gas pipeline that will extend from Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, and end in Mercer County, New Jersey. The benefits of the PennEast Pipeline Project are numerous: Safe, clean, local natural gas supply that will increase reliability and decrease consumer costs A $1.6 billion economic benefit to Pennsylvania and New Jersey More than 12,100 jobs created through construction and ongoing operations An estimated $890 million in annual consumer energy cost savings resulting in increased disposable income (estimated that every $10 million in increased disposable income from these savings would generate an additional economic impact of $13.5 million) Access to the most abundant natural gas supply resource in the nation Regulatory approval and construction of the PennEast Pipeline Project is critical to the ongoing development, transport and use of shale gas. By supporting this project, you will help consumers receive a safe, reliable source of natural gas and create a viable environment and support network for your own projects and initiatives. • gas resources. This will ensure that our energy needs will be met well into the future in an environmentally and sound economical manner.

Beyond the logic of putting our own resources at a higher priority than those controlled by often hostile foreign energy suppliers, I point to the growing needs of our local economy. The PennEast Pipeline Project not only will deliver a safe, reliable, affordable supply of natural gas, it will do so with a $1.6 billion economic benefit during its design and construction and provide annual energy savings of close to $900 million per year to Pennsylvania and New Jersey consumers. These are major economic benefits for many of our local and regional families, communities and businesses.

As someone who knows firsthand the benefits of all that natural gas makes possible, I ask you to approve the PennEast Project. Thank you. ________________________________________For additional information, visit www.penneastpipeline.com/takeaction or contact Pat Kornick at (844) 347-7119 or [email protected].
