designed for nurses with an ap�tude and inclina�on of

developing specialized nursing knowledge, skills,

competencies and exper�se in caring for pa�ent popula�ons

suffering with cri�cal illnesses and enabling preven�on and

promo�on of health. Upon successful comple�on of this course the

nurse would be proficient in providing advanced cri�cal care to the pa�ents,

Ÿ To provide qualita�ve and safe nursing care to the pa�ents suffering with cardiac diseases and associated

condi�ons.

Ÿ To manage cardiac diseases within community and healthcare se�ngs with emphasis on health

promo�on, preven�on and rehabilita�on.

Ÿ To improve clinical competencies, skills and knowledge in the area of cardiac care.

Ÿ To conduct, par�cipate and organize research studies in the area of specializa�on for the benefit of

pa�ents, communi�es and organiza�ons.
